Updates Finally!
Our Office ISP again is down...I am crazy with work...worst of all cramming for our wed preps! Hahaha
Caterer
We had our food tasting with a caterer based in Malate two weekends ago. The food was great, though their set-up needs a total make-over! We were not impressed with the set-up but I think we are still getting their services for our wedding. Teltel and I just agreed that our family florist would just have to work extra in upgrading the set-up. Their wedding package is reasonable and the owners are very accommodating! This Saturday, we're off to book them na! Yahoo!
Cake
Our caterer also said that she will refer us to Vienna Cakes for our wed cake! I read in the latest Metro Weddings Magazine (thanks to Tita Idang for buying a copy for me!) that they have been in the business for quite some time. That's also one of our itineraries on Saturday - to visit their shop and find out how good they are!
Souvenirs
My Tita Idang also showed us a sample of the souvenir we're going to give out. Secret muna. Hehehe
Wedding Theme and Colors
Because my whole family is involved now with the wed preps, and since all of us are Encantadia fanatics, it is final that my wedding theme is something about fairies, magic and enchantment. Will go very well with the Paco Park as my venue! The colors would no longer just be pink and silver, rather it would be pink, purple, mint green and yellow! Haaaayyy... Colors that will look best both during day and nighttime. (daytime?)
Time and Date
Yes. We are moving our wedding from 630pm to 5pm. Same date though.
Videographer and Photographer
We're planning to get the Church's official photog/video man for the job. He has been taking photos of brides for more than 15 years! We think its more than enough credential to qualify him.
Entourage
Our entourage is almost complete! My sister Iyay will be the maid of honor, while his brother Ferdi will be his best man. I have two bridesmaids and he has 2 groomsmen: my other two siblings Kia and Jegs, and his best friend Noel and my cousin Michelle. Our secondary sponsors is composed of our closest friends, one from every clique. Though I haven't told some of my friends yet about their roles- well I'm planning to tell them very soon. Our Ninongs and Ninangs are our bosses from the office and our closest relatives. Our pretty flower girls are the kids of my officemates! The little boys would have to be my cute pamangkins! Yehey!
Gowns/Barongs
Manuel don't seem to like the wedding gown I showed him the other day. He' s complaining about its simplicity and fabric! But I insisted that I want my gown to be simply white and elegant, with a short train, beaded with swarovski crytals. My veil would also be studded with crystals. His barong should also be beaded with crystals with a Chinese collar.
Invitations
Will be going to Divisoria this weekend also for the invites. His officemate referred to us Unifair, where invites are really inexpensive but classy. We'll have to find out!
Documents
Next week I'm scheduled to take my leave to start with my paper for my MBA! Manuel would probably file his leave so we can process our marriage license and other required documents for the Church.
Wedding Bands
Similar to that of the Lord of the Rings, where "love never fails" or"till death do us part" is engraved. Very soon and we're excited about it!
Those are just some of the things that's keeping us busy these past days! Hopefully by next week, our caterer is already booked!
