Graduation of Iyay
Yesterday is Iyay's graduation day! Had to take a vacation leave for my Sis' graduation at the PICC- a momentous occasion for her and for the whole family. My sis Iyay graduated with a a degree in AB Behavioral Science. I guess she really wants to be part of the HRD like her pretty Ate (ahem!) The cermony was not really solemn coz many of the students were shouting and the program was not organized. The guests and parents had to squeeze in the entrance doors just to get a good seat. Iyay had 5 tickets, 2 for the parents and 3 for guests. The guests had to sit at the balcony (Me, Kia and Jegs), then after a few moments of being frozen inside the Hall, we decided to eat Hahaha!
What really touched me most was when the Magna Cum Laude from their course gave his speech. Although many would find his talk a bit dull and boring because he has a very soft voice (seems like he's sharing a poem), the message was clear: "Don't be afraid of the many trials that come our way, we can always make it!" The Thomasian spirit was very alive that afternoon. I almost cried when every Thomasian stood up and sang the UST Hymn! I did cry when the AB Chorale rendered a beautiful farewell song!

Of course, Graduation would never be complete without a celebration dinner. My Lola was with us, so we have to pick a Chinese resto... hmmm... Super Bowl will be perfect!
